Stand+Walk+Knock=Learning

After Tze How started to stand, walk by holding on sofa and table, open and close the cabinet door, he started to knock himself more too.
Of course I am proud of that but when I see that, gosh ... I feel so distressed and so sorry that I was not be able to protect him.

I remember I read an article from a master before:你孩子的福气会被你的担心削减掉, so we should not worry too much on our children ya.

So, now the best we can do is add on the Anti-Corner sticker to the corner of the table in order to avoid him to knock on sharp corner.

Stand Up

Finally, our little boy stands up by himself after few days with bigger spaces of training.
May be when we were at KL, the living hall was too small for him to practise better crawling and nothing for him to hold and stand up.

With lesser furnitures and thingys, Tze How can crawl better now, he is little speedy now, and he can even stand up by holding the sofa or table now.

Since the standing is new for him, he feels so funny doing it, and keep doing it, even he falled down, he will laugh himself, stand up again and even tried to move another step forward.

Tze How on flight

We flew to Cheng Du on 16th Aug 2007.
Finally, we met our dear hubby --- after chinese new year, it has been so many many months.
I was quite scared handling Tze How alone as I always have my mother besides me when I was out with Tze How. I am pampered.
I thought it would be hard for me to pat Tze How sleep when he is sleepy but he was good boy all the way(except when I was away for Ladies).

I thought he would not sleep in the bassinet that provided by the flight but surprisingly he slept for 1.5 hours (during the flight from bangkok to chengdu) .. haha .. good boy.

CRAWLING

Finally, Tze How is crawling now, at the age of 9 months 4 wks.

He started to crawl around 5 pm this evening .. Haha .. after he mastered the skill of crawling, he was so excited and keep crawling the whole evening.

He crawled til hungry,
He crawled til sweat,
He crawl til tired,
He just crawl to grab what he not suppose to get like remote control, CPU, radio, tv, portable harddisk, etc etc.

He is not keen in his toys ...

Harder Stool

Tze How's stool turned harder than before since 17th July 2007.

I wonder whether it has something to do with the non-blended cereal or rice.

Anyway, that was the only reason I can think of as he drinks the same amount of water daily, having 2 pieces of fruits daily.

p/s: or may be I had few packets of tit-bit (Cheezels & Super Ring) [I am still breastfeeding]

Sleep Better

During the shopping at Mid Valley-Jusco today, bought a set of Jonhson Baby Bedtim Starter Kit as Tze How keep waking up during night time.

Visited the Paediatrician this morning and told him about Tze How bedtime routine, he just told me: YOU NEED TO BE FIRMED !! No Matter how he cries, no matter how he screams (til hoarse !) ... 2-3 days will do

Really a challenge !!

My 1st COD FISH

See .. This is Tze How 1st piece of COD FISH.

I bought it from Jusco Supermarket-D'hati at Mid Valley, it costs me RM 8.47 !!
But the fish was fresh enough.

Tried the cod fish with the porridge with the rest of the veggie this evenig for Tze How dinner, he just love it!!

He had his dinner much more faster than before ..

Telephathy

Why did I say I dun even have time to take shower and to defecate when I am alone at home with Tze How ...

Because almost EVERYTIME I went to washroom, either to take shower and to defecate, after Tze How sleep ...
>> Just after I started, or before I finished, Tze How would cry or scream for me ... It was so JIT that sometimes I went into the washroom.. was halfway taking off my clothes, there he cried and screamed for me ...

The worst for me was when I was halfway taking shower or defecating, I really worried that he would keep rolling until fall on the tiles ... but anyhow, it really happened that he cried and screamed for me when I was halfway taking shower or defecating ...

WHAT TO DO ??
For Bath ~ Just wipe away whatever on my body, and ran into the room ...
For Defecate ~ Just stop it, wipe away whatever leftover, and ran into the room ...
(Can you imagine what was the feeling of half way defecating ?? ^O^)

Guess this is so call Telepathy ... Tze How and the mummy are telephatized ya ... may be from the breastfeeding ..

Timetable

As a full time mother at home can be very busy, sometimes I dun even have time to take shower or poo poo if I am alone at home with Tze How.

I am lucky that I got help from my mother as I am staying with my parents while my hubby working in Cheng Du, China.

Whole day can be fully accupied even though I dun have to do housework like washing, cooking, cleaning, etc.

This is what our daily life now ...

0700am ~ 0730am: Wake up & Poo, then play
0830am ~ 0900am: Morning Bath
0930am ~ 1000am: Bottled Milk, If failed, Breastfeed, then sleep
1100am ~ 1130am: Wake up & Play
12 noon ~ 1230pm: Fruits
1230pm ~ 0100pm: Lunch (Porridge), then play
0200pm ~ 0230pm: Bottled Milk, If failed, Breastfeed, then Nap
0330pm ~ 0400pm: Wake up & Play
0600pm ~ 0630pm: Fruits
0630pm ~ 0700pm: Dinner (Porridge)
0730pm ~ 0800pm: Shower
0800pm ~ 0830pm: Breastfeed, Night Sleep
0900pm ~ 0700am: Breastfeed Breastfeed and Breastfeed on 2-3 hours interval

The above is only the rough timetable. Tze How normally nap for less than 2 hours, like 1-2 hours; sometimes only 30-45 min.

As I need to breastfeed him during night time, so I hardly get good sleep, so whenever I have time when he is having nap during day time, I would sleep too;

BUT, normally I would spend time on net like blogging, browsing, upload photos, chatting (with hubby normally) ..
OR, reading parenthood magazine, books etc ..

The rest of the time, need to accompany little Tze How to play especially when he is bored playing alone, he will ask for attention.
Plus, he is learning to crawl now, so I am a bit too protective that I always scare he will fall onto the tiles, so whenever his movement like crawling forward and falling down, I will run to him ..

Daily Menu

Tze How is 9 months 3 wks now. After first 6 months of exclusive breastmilk direct nursing, h started the solid after 6th month.

Started with BABYNAT Organic 3 fruits cereal only, then mixed with BABYNAT Organic Vanilla cereal;
Later we mixed the cereal with organic veggie like pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, broccoli, carrot, etc..., but normally the cereal was mixed with 1 type of veggie only;
Since 9th month, we have been feeding him with porridge (hulled millet, wheat bucket & quinoa) and all kinds of organic veggie like pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, broccoli, carrot, three-coloured amaranth, tomato, wakame.

Most of the time, formula milk (soya & cow) are mixed with cereal or porridge as Tze How doesn't take much of bottled milk, so have to add on during his meal in order to let him absorp the ingredient, and not to waste the bottled milk which already prepared but rejected by him.

After cooked, just before the solid feed, will add in some Soy Lecithin, Wheatgerm and Rhodospermous (red seaweed) on the porridge.

These are the menu for Tze How since he born:-
Born ~ 6th month
Breastmilk Direct Nursing

7th month ~ 8th month
1 slice of red apple/pear or a banana
Cereal only
Cereal + 1 type of veggie + soya milk powder
* boiled the veggie til soft and mashed it, then add on the cereal and soya milk with warm water

9th month ~ 9th month 3 wks
1 slice of red apple/pear or a banana
Porridge (blended rice) with few types of veggie
* Initially the rice was not blend and he got choke and cough during the feed, even its soft enough
* In between, tried to blend the veggie before cook so that the veggie were in mashed form after cook
* Mother in law reminded better blend the veggie after cook, so blended it after cook after her advice
* With blended rice, the porridge need to be stir all the time in order not to let it stick on the pot

9th month 3 wks ~ now
1 slice of red or geen apple/pear or a banana
Porridge (non-blended rice) with few types of veggie
* In order to ease the job, not to stand beside the stove and stir the porridge, tried to feed Tze How with non blended rice, he takes it
* Plus, all the veggie were not blended, but cook til it soft, and mashed with spoon, he accepts it too

Porridge are made out of hulled millet, wheat bucket & quinoa
Veggie includes pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, broccoli, carrot, three-coloured amaranth, tomato, wakame.

Have not started to introduce meat to Tze How, no plan yet, may be next week.

Further progress on crawling and others

Ha, glad that there are further progression on the crawling for Tze How.

He crawled for another 3-4 steps forward this afternoon.

Plus. he has even more face expression and body moving.

He claps a lot;
He Gong Xi Gong Xi a lot;
He kicks a lot;
He plays with himself a lot;
He plays with me a lot;
He socials a lot;
He smile a lot;
He laugh a lot;
He coos a lot;
He rolls a lot;
He sit up by himself a lot;
He moves a lot when we carry him;
He climbs a lot over my body when I lie on bed;

and he makes me feel tired a lot, but LOT OF FUN & JOY ...

Non-Blended Cereal of Rice

Started the porridge with fully non-blended hulled millet, wheat bucket and quinoa porridge with Tze How today (Yesterday still mixed with 50% blended and 50% non-blended cereal of rice)

Luckily he can accept it.
So we will not blend those cereal of rice from today onwards as it consumes time (although not much), We will just cook the porridge til it turns really soft and mashed.

He used to spit the grain gently when we fed him as he doesn't know how to chew and swallon those grain.

He is big boy and good boy now.

Tze How was playing on the mattress in the bedroom, I was trying to capture his clap initially, but when he realised I tried to shoot him .. there he was trying to stop me ... Muahaha !!

Dun Bother

I guess most of the BBs are very unrestrain and very characterful.

For Tze How case, when we realised he have learned something or did something surprise us, and he knew what he was doing, for eg. clapping hand, pray pray, calling Ma Ma, Give him FIVE, Shake hand, drink the bottled milk, ect etc.

When he is in good mood, just a little little praise, he can do it for thousand of times;
When he is not in good mood, no matter how we praise him, he never want to do it.

BUT sometimes he is not in bad mood and we tried to ask him to do something like clapping, give me FIVE, etc etc, he still doesn't want to do it, so I guess he WILL JUST DO IT WHEN HE LOVES ONLY - I wonder Tze How may think : well, I dun bother, there is no way I listen to others ... haha .

D' 1st Step

Tze How has been trying very hard to start his first crawl. His knee just couldn't position right to start the crawl.
We were trying to help him but still need himself to make the move.

Yesterday, Tze How was playing and just the same like normal, just before his knee move another step forward, his body will lean back to the sitting position.

Without any further expectation, Tze How moved his right knee a step forward just like crawling, BUT he falled on the tilam immediately after that .. Ha ha ...
Of course I still praised him by clapping hand, said he is good boy and clever boy by raised up my thumb.

And he smiled and laughed and clapped his hand happily and the body shake like dancing, so cute!

I want to hold the bottle myself !!

Ha, we realised one thing after these few days of trial and error on the bottle feed.
Tze How wants to hold the bottle himself when the bottle feed come with milk. Ha Ha ... He never want us to carry him and feed him the milk.
Well, sometimes its up to his mood too. Hard to serve him sometimes ...

No matter it was soya milk or non-soya milk, he would take it.
So it is pretty sure that not the taste of the milk that he rejected, but the way we feed him.

Ah !!! Big boy already ah ... want to drink by himself liao !!

Daily Challenges

To be a mother --- there are lots of challenges , especially to be a good mother, to be a responsible mother; and there are lots of things we can do for our kids, it depends on how many or how much we want to do it.

As for me, I am a full time mother for the time being, and somemore I have my mother to help me on taking care of Tze How.
AND because of that, I am pampered as a mother.

Normally my mom will help to bath Tze How, cook for his meal, pat him sleep DURING DAY TIME, play with him etc etc, in other words, I am in fact sort of help out my mom when she is busy with cooking or housework .

When Tze How is growing, he is getting more and more clingy- just like a superglue, especially when he hits over 9th month.

See, when I need to go out and left Tze How for my mom, Tze How will stay very very good boy with my mom, never ask for carry, never cry, never scream, easily get a nap etc etc;
Whenever I am at home, wow ... Tze How will want to be breastfeed other than lunch and dinner, to be carried all the time within 10 min own-play, wake up with tears, express himself with all the funny face expression etc etc.

That's how he bully me .. sigh.

OK, as we are leaving to cheng du, china soon, so I will have to take care of Tze How myself as I am not going with my mother but mother in law, and Tze How is not familiar with my mother in law and he will only want me only for the time being.

There are no problem for me to handle him except the following AND the challenges for me now are:

1. To be able to pat him sleep DURING DAY TIME
- whenever I pat him, he will turn left and right, or roll over and doesn't want to sleep, not even after 3 hours of awake

2. To feed him formula milk with bottle
- he just refused no matter who feed him, using his tongue to block the teat, body keep moving and rolling until the milk splash everywhere on him, scream, cry ...

3. To wean slowly
- breastfeed before night sleep is a MUST now, after the falls, he asks for breastfeed on breaskfast, tea-time, supper and average of 2-3 hours interval during the night time. In a nutshell, he asks for breastfeed all the time except lunch and dinner.

Huh ... sometimes I would think - I rather work, but I know I should be glad that I have chance to grow together with my son.

No Bottle Milk

After 9 months, now that we decided to try Cow's Formulated milk with Tze How since he doesn't want to take soya milk.

Have been trying to bottle feed him with soya milk - Isomil, but he just refused to take.
But he takes bottle feed water.

So we assuming he doesn't like the smell or taste of the soya milk, after months of thought, now that we decided to let him try with cow's formulated milk.

Bought a can of 400g Enfapro 6-18 months milk powder on 4th July 2007:-

1st try on 5th July morning :-
> refused to take, so we mixed with cereal and fed him.

2nd try on 6th July Morning :-
> refused to take initially, so need to fawn him and distract his attention by pointing at the photo on the wall, tell stories, sang like a clown, speak out my sister name as he likes my sister a lot, at the same time, my mother feeding him ... FINALLY ... he had only 1 Oz out of 4 Oz .. ; later on, we mixed with porridge. As there were too much milk left over, my mom tried to feed him with spoon, he refused to take too, but when we feed him water with spoon, he just sips sips sips ...

SUCH A CLEVER BOY YA !!

Tze How was in a sleeping position, or rather, rolling position, then suddenly, he pushed himself up and he was in a sitting position.

I never expect this as I am expecting him to creep and crawl nowadays, so his move surprised me, of course, I am glad he did that.

Falling Down .. AGAIN !!

2nd July
Gosh! Tze How falled down again from the bed during the day time nap. Luckily, this time he falled down from the bed, to the pillow on the floor, then to the rubber mat on the floor, but still, it was a big shock for him .. poor boy!

After the 2 falls,
- he refused to sleep on the bed, and wanted to be carried all the while .. so tired, imagine, need to carry 10 kg all the while .. haha
- he cried and woke up even day time (he used to woke up abd play by himself, and showed us smiling face when we realised he woke up)
- he needs to be breastfeed to sleep during night time

Guess he really shocked by the fall ... 阿弥陀佛，愿观世音菩萨保佑...

Tze How, you gotta be TOUGH ya ...

Falling Down

1st July
Tze How's rolling become powerful and fast by sudden, and now, after rolled, he will use his leg to push himself up but the head still stick to the bed --- he is learning to crawl.
He used to be lazy in rolling, and even after he rolled over, he seldom continue rolling but scream for help , may be painful and too heavy(he is aorund 10kg now).

I knew, and my dad knew too, he will finally falling down from the bed 1 day (I don't put him sleep on bb cot but my bed).

Here comes the day ....ai ...

He usually sleep around 830pm, after that, we heard he cried, so I ran into the bedroom and have a look (this happen everyday)...Gosh !! he was on the floor without any rubber mat, he falled on the tiles. My tears already turning round and round in my eye.

Poor How, he cried so loud, and sound scary, in fact, he was shocked (of course!); but luckily he cried only a while, so guess he did not hurt seriously.
> frankly, what we worry the most is that we did not know where he hurt, if knock on the head, well, there will be bruise; but if the bone or neck or spine are sprained or wrenched, NO JOKE!!!

Is my fault that I was careless, didn't put enough cushion. rubber mat on the floor, I am sorry little bb.
--- I knew even there are cushion or rubber mat, he will still fall down.

Ma Ma ... Ma Ma Ma...

30th June
Lovely Tze How, since last saturday, he keep mumbling Ma Ma Ma Ma from morning til late at night before sleep, the Ma Ma is much much more clearer than last time when he started cooing.

Guess he is learning to talk although he is yet to crawling, standing or walking, he not even teething yet.
--- Tze How's parent are talkative .. !! haha
> The daddy likes to talk a lot when others do not understand something, or rather, he explains in long-winded way.
> The mami likes to talk a lot especially to elder people when she was little gal before schooling.

Tze How likes to imitate adults talking and singing, he always Ah Ah Ah Eh Eh EH Ee Ee Ee with different tune .... so cute, especially when there is somebody singing in the tv(I know I shouldn't let him watch tv before age 3).

Til today, the Ma Ma Ma still on, and become clearer, louder -- so sweet, I wonder was the Ma Ma= Mummy, or grandma, or eating Mum Mum ....

Actually the email was forwarded to my hubby from one of his friend. She called the church and confirmed this is real case.

However, I called Mr Khok again, directly and he told me he was at hospital as the daughter is ready to admit into hospital that day.
Then later in the morning, I called the church again to double check and they confirmed this is real case.

So, I transferred 1K to Mr Khok Maybank account directly on 25th June 2007.

Menstruation

25th June
Ha .. Ha .. finally, my menstruation is back --- 9 months after delivery. Guess if I didn't cut down the breastfeeding volume, the menstruation may not be back again.
Not quite use to the menstruation ... :P .. especially when I still breastfeed, not easy and quite troublesome.

Well, Ya .. breastfeeding save money --- on the milk/soya powder and the pad, and the time.

For me, direct nursing is easy. Mush more easier than bottle.
But direct nursing is tiring, and quite difficult for the bb to abstain from direct nursing.
For my case, my son didnt even want to drink the milk from bottle. He drinks only water from bottle.

So until now, I still NEED TO direct nursing him.

Good Appetite

My good little Boy .. I am glad that he is back to good appetite now.

I replenished the veggie and fruits for Tze How as most of them already finished, so I bought Broccoli, Lecttuce, Australia Red Apple, Quinoa, Amaranth; all of them are organic.

He started the blended porridge 2 days ago as he doesn't like the taste of the pellet porridge or grain type of feeling.
Actually we started with hulled millet and quinoa only, then blended hulled millet and quinoa; then we added blended buckwheat today, he likes it too - all the blended grain. I am glad he is used to the taste without cereal as I am worry he get use to the sweet cereal and hardly take porridge later, but I believe there are certain level of sweetness in the porridge as I put in carrots, potato, sweet potatoe, broccoli, amaranth AND SOYA MILK POWDER as he doesn't take as daily supplement, he just doesn't like the smell I guess, so we need to add in his meal.

He can take around 3 quarter to 1 bowl of porridge. We need to feed him fast as he will scream and act spoil if we are a bit slow .. he is just too impatient.

Ferrari Sports Car for HIM

Well, the Shell Malaysia is promoting the Ferrari sports car; by filling up RM40 of V-Power or SUper Economy petrol, we can purchase different model of ferrari sports car at the price of RM 3.99 or RM4.99 respectively.

Guess what, I plan to buy all 7 models for Tze How (haha .. pampering Tze How again huh !)

so far I have got 4 out of 7, still need to get another 3 before June end as I heard the promotion will be til June end.

He likes the sports car a lot although he doesnt know how to play with it, so I will play with my mom and he will see us play .. and laugh happily .. lovely boy!

Patient

Phew .. finally, Tze How consider recover from the diarrhea, his stool started to get harder now .

But just 2 days of illness and habits, he gets up even more often during night time now... really make me mad ... really tiring ... and when he wakes up, he will cry-loud, the only way is - Breastfeed. I really do not know what to do to make him sleep through the night, and be calm when wake up.

Well, everybody said I have pampered Tze How which I quite agree.

During day time:-
Whenever he asked to be carried in the arm (with funny and pity face, with scream), I will carry him.
Whenever he cried and make noise when we try to pat him sleep, I will breastfeed him (as I assume he is hungry or wanted to be hugged).
Whenever he refuses to drink water, I will keep praising him loud enough:"GOOD BOY!!! come on, drink water"
Whenever he screamed for help after rolled over, I will carry him in the arm.
Whenever he make noise even when I carry him, I will keep swinging.

During night time:-
Whenever he cries, I will breastfeed him.
Whenever he refuses to drink water, I will breastfeed him.
Whenever he wakes up, I will "fly" to his cot and let him know I always beside him.
Whenever he wakes up and wave the hand for something, I will put my face near to him and let him feels me.

Conclusion: Whenever I can't cope with him, one and the only best way (for me) for me is Direct Bursing -- BREASTFEED.

But I strongly believe baby changes from 1 stage to the other, so I am looking forward to his journey of growing and developing.

** Must find some excuses for myself to be patient all the while and especially during these stages of changes.

Measles

Tze How's fever seemed improved this morning, BUT lots of red dots appeared on his face, neck, behind the ears ... so I was wonder whether it was measles, or as simple as rashes as he sweats a lot.

When my mom helped to take shower, realised that there are rashes on his body too, and his diarrhea still continues. So I decided to bring him to the clinic again --- no joke.

Well, the paediatrician behaved quite ok today .. haha ... he confirmed that Tze How is having measles but is 假麻 coz the real one will have the symptom like high fever, coughing, vomitting, diarrhea, etc etc.

According to doctor, his sore throat improved too, I think that is why he started to drink plain water again since yesterday. Took some cereal too. But the doctor keep reminding not to take cereal but porridge instead as he said the cereal just too sweet and it will be very hard for us to change his taste in the future.

There the doctor again:" If you continue feed him cereal, you have to add sugar into your porridge in the future .."

So I spent another RM 30 this time with some medicine of course.

Dragon Boat Festival

Here comes again the Dragon Boat Festival.

My mom always want to wrap the glutinous rice dumpling especially during the festival time. In fact, my mom likes cooking, bakery --- culinary art. so whatever festival arrive, she must have done something to celebrate the festival, it is even better if she could share her end products with friends and relatives.

However, as she is helping to look after her grandson-Tze How, so she might mess up if she wrap the glutinous rice dumpling. Plus, my dad wondering and said: Aiyo, you have not enough time already, you sure you cope with it ??

After that, my mom mumbled for few days: "Ermm ... I think I can cope with it lar .. oh?" "Aiyo, if buy outside, very expensive one oh" "Eh, I feel like wrapping the Nyonya glutinous rice dumpling ler" "Eh, I think Joo (my sister) wants to eat lah" etc etc etc

Finally, the liberator appeared --- My Sister. She asked my mom to wrap and she will stay at home on Sunday to help !! Haha .. my mom said: OK, good, you just need to help to look after Tze How.

So ... these are part of the ingredient and glutinous rice dumpling that my mom has done on sunday.

p/s: that is 1 and the only 1 dumpling I helped to wrap ...

Father's Day with Lesson

We celebrated Father's Day on Saturday Night, 16th of June 2007 instead of Sunday as my mom and my sister wanted to wrap the glutinous rice dumpling.

We changed the location from Saisaki Japanese Buffet to the Pantai Seafood located at Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, which is quite near to Tropicana Golf Club. The purpose that we changed was because everybody told me that it was expensive to have RM60 per head on the buffet, so if 3 of us (me, my sis and my bro) have to pay for head of 5, we will need to pay about RM 100. As my sister and my brother just started their work and paying their loan, so they are quite poor. so we decided tpo go for a cheaper restraurant.

Ok, we arrived around 645pm but already fully booked. We tried to get a table but we need to finish by 8 pm before the booking for another table started. We gorged, we gobbled up and eat as it has already set in our mind that we must finished before 8 pm.

The main dishes that we had :-
Germany Pork Knuckle - RM 30.00
Scollop Red Snapper - RM 63.60
Kai Lan in 2 variety - RM 18.00
Snow Beancurd - RM 15.00
Mexico Geoduck - RM167.20
Coconut - RM 4.50

Guess what?? Its more expensive than Saisaki, we have to pay total of RM339.45 including 5% tax and ONLY 3% service charge (normally 10% right?) ... haha .. such a smart choice!

My sister almost kill me .. muahaha ... because we ordered the Mexico Geoduck last min WITHOUT ASKING THE PRICE !!!! as both of us never had Geoduck before and would like to try ...and these is the consequences for being so negligent.

Another lesson for us!!

However, all the dishes are delicious !! Especially the pork knuckle!!.

Just be aware of the location, its in the middle of the housing area, an unexpected location!!

(To get there, if you are coming from the LDP, heading towards the NKVE toll in Damansara, keep left and turn into Damansara Jaya/Atria Shopping Centre, go straight all the way passing one traffic light, you will pass a Projet Station on your left hand side. U turn at the traffic light after Pro Jet and take the first left and an immediate right. Drive towards this restaurant called Damansara Village which is also another seafood restaurant. Take a left and drive straight down the road. You will pass by wooden houses and factories and cross a bridge. After this, you will come to a cross-road and see the Pantai Seafood sign, take a right and then an immediate left into the restaurant. Parking is ample at the restaurant.)

Fever ...

Oh Gosh .... Tze How is sick. In fact, felt his fever on Friday night, then gave him some Uphamol which provided by the paediatric during his first vaccination. He refused to be fed as he doesn't like the sweetness and the smell I guess, so we gotta forced him by pressing his body, then open his mouth and pour into his mouth .. oh poor boy ...

BB CANNOT BE FORCED ... he vomited after that .. can see all the cereal, carrots, veggie, etc (yiak !!)

Then he was OK on Saturday ... but when it came to saturday night after he slept around 830pm, his fever turn on again which make me worry. Plus, he got no appetite at all, he didn't even want to drink water, no fruits, no cereal .. nothing. This is the first time for us, as food normally never enough for his every meal ..

So we brought him for paediatric at about 11am after we confirmed the fever did not bring down.

I was bombard by the paediatrician.
Below if the dialogue between me and the paediatrician:-

Paed: So .. 什么事？
Me : 哦！发烧。。。
Paed: 有没有上吐下泻？
Me : 没有， 不过不知道是不是发牙，他大概8个多月了，可能是发牙的症状吧？！
Paed: 哎呀，你们这些父母，不要整天听那些老人家说这个症状那个症状，是因为这样那样，发烧就是发烧，生病了就是生病了；发牙是不应该发烧的!!!
Me : 啊？！

（Then the non-uniform nurse came, asked me to hold my son's hand, and the nurse hold his head, then the paediatrician used the ice cream wooden stick to check on my son's mouth, checked the gum, the internal part of the mouth, AND ＴＨＥ THROAT)

Paed: 看，一点发牙的迹象也没有。。。
Me :　Oh !!! 啊？还没有发牙的迹象啊？
Paed: (then he was pointing at the throat) SEE !!!
Me :　Ah ...
Paed: You sure you saw it ?!!!
Me : Ah? Oh Yes .. the soreness on the throat ...oh
Paed: Ya lor ...
Me : 是不是发炎啊？
Paed: (nodded his head), 家里有没有人生病?
Me : (I was looking at my sister who was accompany me since he drove me to the clinic) Yes ...
Sis : 我啰！
Paed:　virus 传染咯！

(Then my sister was carrying my son)

Paed: 这样近的距离，当然传染啦！
Sis : 那我是不是不能抱他啊？
Paed:　都传了咯！不要紧了啦！下次注意啦！

then continue with the medicine etc etc.
Sigh ... is my fault to let Tze How closed to my sister who was sick for more than a week (cough, sore throat)

I am sorry boy ... mami apologise ya ...

Keep It On !!

My God, I have been dragging the blog for more than a week ... I am still nursing my son directly during night time and he never sleep through the night, this make me always feel tired and sleepy during day time.

So whenever I have a chance, I will take a nap BUT my little one, will sleep for around 1-1.5 hours only during day time. After he wakes up, I hardly sit in front of the computer for more than 15 min ...

Plus, our new house is renovating; as I am not working and my husband is overseas, so other than renovation, I have to do shopping for the new house, from lighting, dining table, curtain, curtain rail, table, cabinet, etc etc ... has been a busy week last week ... hope this week won't occupy too much of my time on these.

Then, its a habit that I have to chat with hsband everynight ....and both of us can chat from A - Z non stop ... haha

Well, never mind, that's life as I see it ... Keep it On !!! Just need to be more self-discipline.

Mosquito Bitesssss !!!

These are the mosquitoes bites I mentioned yesterday .. poor boy !!
From the exprience, it will at least last for a week, sayang sayang little bb ...

Hi Daddy... Bye Bye Daddy ...

Our little Tze How, he waived to his daddy today !!

Well, my husband is working in ChengDu, China. We normally skype to each other everynight, and if Tze How is awake when we chat during night time, I will bring him in front og computer and chat with his daddy through webcam, so that both of them recognise each other .. muahahaha
** Tze How started to recognise people after 6th month, so I am a bit worry that when we are in China, I am the only one can carry him .

SO .... both of us on our webcam and chat, and normally I will ask my husband to waive to Tze How so that there are some action keep Tze How's attraction .. and guess what !! when my husband said Hi and Bye Bye to Tze How by waiving his hand, Tze How followed his waiving and waved back to daddy ... Clever Boy !!

I was so happy and I didn't have a chance to capture the moment ... anyway, at least I blog it ya ...

Coo Coo Coo...

Tze How coos a lot nowadays ... and he is doing better and better.
Although we do not know what he is talking about, but we know that he is trying to coo in different word ... lovely !!

He knows the words like "Mama" "Mum Mum" "Nen Nen" .. hmm .. seldom "Papa "
He sings sometimes with different high and low tunes ... haha ... Eh ... Ehh ... Ah ... Ah .... Heh ... Heh ....

Whenever we bring him to shopping and tried to put him on the trolley with bb seat, he always reject to sit. IF he sits, the most would be 5 min ...or lesser.

Clap Clap Clap !!

Poor Tze How, he couldn't sleep well the whole night as he got 5-6 mosquito bites !! 3 on his left cheek and 2-3 behind his head ... dear dear dear .. must be very very itchy !! This caused him wake up every 2 hours sharply yesterday.
He slept at 830pm, then woke up at 1030pm, 1230am, 2am, 4 am etc etc !!

Tze How learned to clap 3 days ago, although his clapping is not precise(in the sense that both the palm may miss each other sometimes ).

When we say: Tze How, 拍拍手, then he will try to clap both hands. He likes to play with my sister, give her FIVE, Shake Hand, Clap ... haha .. all taught my his Ah Yi ... my sister.

He just learned Burung Kakak Tua on thursday 7th Jun 07, so now whenever I sing Burung Kakak Tua ... bla bla bla .. he will laugh happily.
He enjoys Music a lot, and I can see that almost all BBs enjoy music.

House Renovation

Like I mentioned before, has been busy with the house renovation at Sungai Buloh ...
These are the progress so far ...

So many things have not bought yet ... Ceiling Lamp, Curtain, Curtain Rail, Storeroom rack, Downlight, Hanger, Dining Table, Sofa, Bed ... etc etc etc ...

Accident!!

Gosh ... has been busy withthe house renovation, rushing here and there ... I almost fainted .. so tired .. my mind and my vigour just don't work, I just feel No Good .. may be didnt rest well and sleep well are part of the reason as I still need to wake up and feed Tze How during night time with average of 2-3 hours.

Guess becoz of that ... last night after I fetch my sister back, when I was doing the reverse parking, I bang into the back of a car. Can you imagine, I was driving auto and I was doing reverse parking, but end up I bang the back of that car. The owner was really mad on me, she was so so so bad luck huh ....BUT my car was much more serious than hers, as the whole light has gone !! and my dad was angry on that too :P

I end up with RM 500 for her car and around RM 1200 with our car ...what a day ...

In fact, after I bang into the car, I was so scared .. the heartbeat was extrenely fast and cant stop shaking, can't even talk properly ...sigh .. another lesson for me !!

Tze How is doing better and better on the crawling.
The creep is getting more and more obvious day by day.
YOU CAN DO IT !! But take your time .. no rush ...

He has a habit -- after he rolled over on a lie prone position, within 10 seconds, he will scream for help, guess he is too heavy to move on.
He knows how to roll over and roll back to the original position, but he doesn't like to roll back after his first roll to lie prone position..

Or, he likes to lean forward from a sitting position, but he still can catch up the skill of crawling, so he will topple over and lie prone again ... AND SCREAM AGAIN !!! So cute ...

He likes to throw, or rather, purposely drop his toys, or whatever thing he hold, on the floor nowadays .. expected!! We pick, he drops, we pick again, he drops again, and again, and again, never ending story ... Haha

He is quite impatient ON FOOD!!! haha ...whenever he knows we are feeding him, we gotta be fast, and he swallows very fast, we can't even catch up his speed sometimes .. haha ...no matter fruits puree or cereal meal ... he just swallow like drinking water.

I love to see the way he eats but I hope he can take his time when he is eating.

Good Boy !!

Went out with college friends for a small gathering before I left for Cheng Du, China; in fact, will be leaving only around beginning of July :P. Since one of the friends stays near to Ikea/Tesco/Ikano/The Curve, so we just went to IKEA for some shopping since both of the friends wanted to buy some thing from IKEA.

So ... me ... left my son with my mom at home (how hard-hearted I am ya ...), and guess what he did at home !!!
** Tze How got his bowel movement on his toilet bowl today, again .. haha .. so glad he did that. Just "Ng Ng" him and he knew that is the time he should push out his stool .. muahaha ... as this is the 3rd time he got his bowel movement on his toilet bowl, we are trying to teach him...

** THEN, he drank around 3 ounces of formulated soya milk. Although he is 8th month now, yet he loves direct nursing, he doesn't like bottles, no matter with breaskmilk or formulated soya milk (we try to let Tze How has formulated soya milk instead of others formulated milk), he loves the feeling being breastfeed. However, I am trying to cut down the direct nursing nowadays.

I must be pampering Tze How too much, whenever I am in with him,
> he hardly drink formulated soya milk, he knows I am at home with him and I will direct nursing him whenever he screams and cries for that ;
> when I carry him to have bowel movement on his toilet bowl, he hardly did it ... He will show different face expression to me, and open both arm for hug etc etc etc...

8th Month

Tze How is 8 Months old now ... !!

Wow! I have been staying in Malaysia alone for almost a year (to be accurate, 11 months).
Of course Fan Tung did come back for few times in between. Well, never enough for me .. and Tze How.

Hmm ... Tze How still working hard on the crawling. He has been trying since last week, from a sitting position, try to lean forward and wanted to crawl ... Good Try !! However, may be he is a bit too heavy (as everyone has been telling me, reminding me on his size :p), so I guess he needs extra energy to carry his weight on the crawling position.

Guess what my dad-his grandpa said this afternoon:-
"Hey, Tze How eat again-ah? Aiyo ... he is either sleep, or eat .. then sleep again and eat again ... if you continue to feed him like this, he definately become a fatty..."

He bites and chews a lot, guess he is teething. Actually he started teething on the 5th months++ .. yet, still cant see any of his teeth. He bites the pillow, he bites the pants, he bites his fingers, he bites my fingers, he nites my dad fingers, he bites my mom fingers ... ... poor boy, must be very itchy!!

Gosh, he never sleep through the night, oh no .. yes, it happened 1 day before, after 8 months. One and the only one day so far ...

He normally sleeps at 8 pm ++, then he will wake up around 11pm for milk (only my milk), then will continue wake up with average of 2-3 hours... and again, ask for milk (no bot

tle milk).

Oh Boy .. mami forget to practise the flash card with you today .. I am sorry.
I promise I will do it tomorrow ...

So you think his size a bit too big for 8th month??
